Calling All Crafters!
Summer is coming and that means it’s time to start thinking about craft fairs! Conway’s Festival of the Hills is on Sunday, October 1, 2023 and hosts a very popular crafts fair. This is our 59th festival and people come from all over to be part of this charming hill town celebration.
The Festival takes place in the Town Center. Along with the Craft Fair it features food vendors, children’s activities, log splitting contest, exhibits, parade, 10K road race, duck race, fortune teller, raffle, candy table, ‘Cafe Conway’ with local baked goods, art exhibit of local Conway artists, live music all day and a skillet toss (a signature piece of our festival).
Extensive advertising in the surrounding towns always ensures a great turnout. Proceeds from the Festival of the Hills (FOH) benefit the FOH Scholarship Fund for graduating seniors from the town of Conway.
How it Works
- Crafters set up booths on the Ball Field to showcase and sell their creations, from jewelry to wood carving to fiber arts to pottery and more!
- All crafts must be hand-made by the exhibitor. No manufactured, imported, or ‘made from kits’ goods are permitted. Applications must be post-marked by August 14, 2023 and will be juried for craft balance and replied to by August 28th.
- Crafters must provide their own canopy tent, tables, chairs and other means of display.
- The fee for a crafter space (12’ x 12’) on the ballfield is $50 which supports the Festival of the Hills Scholarship Fund for graduating seniors from the town of Conway.
If you are a crafter interested in participating in this year’s Festival please download the crafter application.
